Preparing to receive a sacrament is a two-year process. Students are expected to attend Life Teen high school youth group in 9th grade and 10th grade, with separate Confirmation preparation classes in 10th grade. During this time, candidates participate in formation sessions, Life Teen youth nights, service, and retreats. Students receive the sacrament in their 10th grade year or after.
