Looking for a way to spend time in prayer?

Would you like to get closer to God?

Today's Reflection

Jeremiah is telling us to live a life worthy of God who has done wonderful things for us. The Israelites listened to these words yet they did not remain faithful. They desired to behave as they wished instead of God’s way. As a result they had to endure all that happened. The Pharisees are accusing Jesus of curing through the power of the devil. Jesus responds with logic. Why would he do so? Jesus is curing people. In doing so, he would be fighting the devil. Why would the devil go along with that? We all know the power of the devil and we know that he would not support any effort which brought about good.

Today’s readings call us to be with God and to act according to the way of Christ. This requires a will to do God’s will. It calls us to spend time with God in prayer in order to take on the mind and heart of Christ. Spend time doing so now. Ask Jesus for the grace to grow in love with Him.

Praying the Rosary

"Pray for us, O holy Mother
of God. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ."

The Rosary is a devotion to the Incarnation of Our Lord and to His Blessed Mother.

The Rosary is divided into five decades. Each decade represents a mystery or event in the life of Jesus. There are four sets of "Mysteries of the Rosary" (Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful, and Glorious). These four "Mysteries of the Rosary" therefore contain, a total of twenty mysteries.

Download the full instructions and prayers to aid you in saying the rosary correctly.
