Sacrament of Reconciliation

"Jesus is the basic reconciling sacrament. His entire life and mission were ministries of reconciliation. The reason Jesus came was to make God's desire of reconciling the whole of creation and to bring about wholeness and unity." Thomas Richstatter, O.F.M.

In the sacrament of reconciliation we celebrate our desire for wholeness and need for healing for all the ways in which we have not brought about wholeness and unity in our lives.

Ordinarily, children are taught about the sacrament of Reconciliation during the first semester of second grade. Children who are older may also be instructed concerning this sacrament through the RCIA classes for children.

Pathfinders 2011-2012

Pathfinders youth group is for any child who is in the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade. Meetings are held Sundays in the Teen Center and Gym from 11:30am to 1:30pm with a lite lunch served each week. If you would like your child to be a part of this exciting group,download the registration packet and return the completed forms to Amy Barber in the parish office.
