The mission of this ministry is to deepen prayer life through the contemplation, recognition and adoration of the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist, outside of Mass, and thus, make reparation for all wrongs and bring His peace to every human heart. All are invited to come spend time in private prayer and adoration. It is our prayer that someone is visiting our Lord in the Chapel at all times so we may offer continuous prayers of praise and adoration to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. This ministry encourages devotion to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. The Divine Mercy Chaplet is prayed in the Adoration Chapel each First Friday at 3:00pm and is followed by prayers to Our Lady and Benediction. Divine Mercy is the Sunday after Easter. A sacristan is the person in charge of preparing all liturgical items the priest will need for Mass. Altar Servers assist the celebrant at the altar during the Mass and other liturgical occasions by lighting the candles, carrying the books and candles, ringing the bells, holding the paten during communion, and other assistance as needed by the presider. Due to the nature of this ministry, a commitment to serve when scheduled, ongoing training sessions, and arrival at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of Mass is required. This ministry opportunity is available to those who have received their first communion.
