The 2010 Stewardship theme of setting out to deep waters urges us to "go deeper." It was selected to encourage all members of Queen of Peace Parish to follow Jesus as we build deeper relationships with each other as we become good stewards of our time, talent and treasure. Members of the Stewardship Council are appointed by the Pastor to assist in encouraging an active response to our baptismal call to live a stewardship way of life by returning our time, talent and tithe to fulfill the mission of the Church on earth. Primary activities include the Stewardship Covenant Renewal Period in the fall, the Ministry Opportunity Fairs, the Day of Reflection and assistance with questions concerning stewardship.
Our Finance Council and Parish Advisory Board are invited by the Pastor to serve as representatives of our community. At this time these councils are fully staffed.

Grief is a natural and necessary journey that follows the death of someone we love. As such, it deserves our attention and our respect, as well as the support of others if we are to heal. This ministry consists of six to eight weekly two-hour sessions that are organized around the six needs that all mourners must have met in order to heal. Sessions are scheduled as needed throughout the year.

There are also other service opportunities available through the Catholic Charities office including, but not limited to, working in the food pantry, visiting with the elderly, making reassurance calls, computer input and various other tasks.
