Our vibrant community provides ample opportunities to assist with varied office activities. Training is provided and time commitment is varied. Some prefer a regular schedule and some prefer to be contacted on an "as needed" basis. Opportunities include assisting with general office duties such as answering telephones, filing, typing, greeting, bulk mail, computer input, staff assistance and welcoming people who come into the office. Steward volunteers are needed for this diverse opportunity to share your smile and your talents!

Do you like meeting new people? Are you excited to share your favorite dish with others? Would you be willing to talk with others about our parish? Can you make people feel comfortable?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, then the NEWCOMER WELCOMING MINISTRY is for you! Every three months, a group of enthusiastic QOP team members host a welcome dinner and informational program for our new parishioners. The evening is our guests’ first close look at our Parish, and we extend Christian hospitality and fun while educating them about all the fantastic opportunities we have at our church. Dates vary; but, the Welcome events are quarterly near the end of the month from 6:15 pm —8:45 pm.

This is a volunteer and paid ministry providing childcare for the various ministry groups, missions, school meetings and other church events so parents can actively participate within our community. Ministry leaders
needing child care for their events are asked to request assistance at least two weeks in advance when possible. Two un-related adults are always assigned and more as needed. Teens may assist with the adult(s). Due to diocesan requirements, fingerprinting and background checks are required.

After Mass fellowship social providing an ongoing opportunity to mingle and meet other community members. We are always looking for people to help facilitate this time of fellowship and fun. It’s also a great opportunity for students to earn service hours while serving the Lord and His community.

Make a difference in the life of a teen. Join us as we make a meal for them to share after church as they gather for youth group and confirmation preparation classes. The meals are simple but make a world of difference to our young people.

The Communications Team encompasses: the website, audio/visual support, video announcements, special reports, and more. Some of the talents sought for this ministry area include: writing, layout and graphic design and computer skills. Be creative and have fun with other community members and launch new ideas.
