Witness Ministries

Scipture Based Small Faith Sharing Groups

The mission of these groups is to share faith based on the Sunday's Readings. The groups meet in private homes or the Church to share God's actions in one's life and to bring that faith to those in one's life.

IGNITE (Young Adults)

  • Chris McCullion

This group seeks to awaken the Church's relevance and presence in the lives of young men and women by embracing a proactive prayer life, igniting their faith life and joining together in liturgy. Through a leadership example this groups endeavors to light the path to a closer relationship with God and to strive to enhance the overall well-being of the Church community through positive social services. The group's focus is to seek connection and enjoyment through building friendships and strengthening relationships between themselves, the church and the community. Meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 7:30pm until 9:00pm and are open to all single and married members from age 20-something to 30-something.

F.U.N.N. (Fellowship Under New Name)

Exciting new ministry group dedicated to exploring and offering a multitude of activities open to all community members to share fellowship, have lots of FUN while doing it and reaching out to others. M.O.M.S. (Ministry of Mothers Sharing)

An organized group for women who share the common bond of Motherhood. Sessions provide opportunities for adult learning, spirituality, prayer and growth. Women are taught a new way to inspire, encourage and affirm each other. Also provided is the opportunity for women to bring their strengths to their family relationships and to the Christian community. Sessions are held several times a year and last for 9 weeks.

Charismatic Renewal

"Life in the Spirit" prayer and praise group that meets every Tuesday at the 6:30pm mass in the Daily Chapel. Worship includes testimonies, prophesy, scripture reading, teaching and sharing.

Sports Ministry (adult)

Several sporting group activities (co-ed and men's) such as softball bowling, golf and volleyball, which provides an opportunity for parishioners with common sporting interests to come together.

Cursillo

A renewal movement of the Catholic Church for those who are seeking to establish, reaffirm or deepen their relationship with Christ, His Church, and the Christian Community. As a result of this growth, participants will then take a more active role in making Christianity a natural, attractive part of their daily lives.  Separate three-day weekends are held for men and women.

Golden Gators

An inter-denominational Seniors fellowship group for anyone age 50+ to cultivate friendly relationships, obtain information on community resources for "Senior needs", encourage participation in Church and Community programs, enjoy entertainment and assist with food donations for the needy through Catholic Charities Food Bank. Meetings are held on the third Friday of each month at Holy Faith Parish beginning at 10:30am with lunch at noon.

Girl Scouts

A national organization for girls to grow, share experience and learn from activities and opportunities developed to encourage them in friendship and serving others. Meeting location, times and commitments vary according to age and specific group.

Boy Scouts

A national organization to serve the youth of our parish community from the 1st through 12th grades. Troop activities and meetings focus on teaching the boys how to run the troop, make decisions, earn merit badges, camping trips, and service projects. Meetings are held on Monday evenings at the Church from 7:00pm to 8:30pm with adult leaders.
