Stewardship Council – 58 |

Stewards appointed by the Pastor to assist in encouraging an active response to our baptismal call to live a stewardship way of life by giving their time, talent and tithe in order to fulfill the mission of the Church on earth. This ministry’s responsibilities include identifying, organizing and delivering the Stewardship Message to our community, Commitment Weekend, the Ministry Opportunity Fair, Testimonials, Assistance for members’ questions or stewardship and other stewardship related areas. |

Finance Council – 59 |

A committed stewardship group appointed by the Pastor to assist him and the Parish Administrator as advisors in the financial interests of the Parish Community. The members actively assist with the preparation of the budget and its execution, advise the Pastor on any major commitment of funds and aid the Pastor in the administration of parish goals in regard for Canon and secular laws. All appointees must have financial and budgeting knowledge, skills in business and money management especially in the area of accounting and investments. |
Parish Advisory – 61 |

A group of business professionals who are committed to stewardship and promoting the Mission of Queen of Peace Catholic Community. The Advisory is appointed by the Pastor and act as advisors for him and the Parish Administrator on issues associated with the parish. This group also works in partnership with the Finance Council and Stewardship Council in matters important to the growth of our community. All members must have skills in various aspects of business. |

What do you REALLY want out of YOUR life? If you want a life of true significance and inner peace, come join our Crown Ministries small group scripture studies to learn with us about the Road to Abundant Life. The disciples on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35) went from discouragement and frustration to inspiration and true peace. This study will enable you to end money stress and find personal spiritual breakthroughs along the way. You’ll discover God’s financial principles for every day life, how to plan confidently and peacefully for your highest material and spiritual good, and have fun and fellowship with other seekers in a confidential, informal atmosphere. Watch for information on scheduling and be sure to sign up early as the space is limited! |

Marriage Preparation/Sponsor Couples – 50 |

Married couples are invited to this ministry by the Pastor to assist in preparing engaged couples for the sacrament of marriage. Sponsor Couples are trained to educate the engaged in a reflective and educational experience to be creative, versatile, joyful and communicative in their marriage commitment. Meetings are held every other month on the first Wednesday from 7:00pm to 9:30pm . |

A proven Paulist program designed to welcome back Catholics into their Church. Meetings are held in a comfortable setting and provide a clear and simple format for welcoming back Catholics who have been away from the Church. The process consists of eight to ten weekly meetings of groups of six to eight. This process has been found to energize all involved. |
Bereavement Ministry – Funeral Planning – 44a |

Serves as the liaison between the priest, funeral home and the bereaved family in selecting the scripture, music and other details for the funeral. |

Bereavement Ministry – Funeral Luncheons – 44b |

As representatives of our community, this group provides the hospitality for the family and friends after the funeral Mass or memorial service. Teams made up of all ages – including teens – assist in providing food items, purchasing food as needed, set up, serve and clean up afterwards. This ministry of care offers comfort during a time in need. |

Eagles Wings – (Bereavement) – 49 and 49a |

Grief is a natural and necessary journey that follows the death of someone we love. As such, it deserves our attention and our respect, as well as the support of others if we are to heal. This ministry consists of six weekly two-hour sessions that are organized around the six needs that all mourners must have met in order to heal. Sessions are scheduled as needed throughout the year. |
F.U.N.N. (Fellowship Under New Name) – 37 |

Exciting ministry group dedicated to exploring and offering a multitude of activities open to all community members to share fellowship, have lots of FUN while doing it and reaching out to others. Respect Life – 47 |

A ministry team focused on protecting and affirming life from the womb to natural death. This group meets on the first Friday of every month at 7:00pm . Celebrating life is encompassed in many ways, some of which include, alternatives to abortion, adoption, single parent support, child and spousal abuse, eldercare, hospice, disabilities, terminally ill, etc. More support is needed for this life-giving ministry. |
Catholic Charities – 52 |

Stewards can serve people with varying needs in a multitude of ways. As a community we collect bags of non-perishable food items on the first Sunday of every month for transportation to the local Catholic Charities Bureau. Help is needed to prepare and pass out the bags after Masses, collect the bags and distribute them to Catholic Charities. |
There are also other service opportunities available through the Catholic Charities office including, but not limited to, working in the food pantry, visiting with the elderly, making reassurance calls, computer input and various other tasks. |

St. Francis House – 53 |

Provides temporary shelter and meals for the homeless at their location on S. Main St . Volunteers are needed to assist with food preparation, distribution and in other areas as needed. |

Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) – 54 |

A network of varying religious denominations that house and feed homeless families on a rotating basis. IHN provides social services to assist the family in reestablishing their housing, employment and schooling for the children. QOP partners with the First Presbyterian Church by providing dinner, transportation or as an overnight host at their facility. Time commitment is once every nine weeks with hours determined according to what you are able to do. |

Are you a lady over 50 and interested in making new friends and having fun? Consider joining one of the two Red Hat Groups, The Holy Hatters who meet on the second Tuesday evening of the month or the Halo Hatters who meet the second Wednesday of the month for lunch. |
Queen of Peace Card/Game Group – 33a |

The Queen of Peace Card Group is growing to become the QOP Game Group. We now have card players and scrabble players. If you are interested in playing cards, board games, dominoes or other games and have a nice afternoon with friends, please join us in the Welcoming Area at Church. The Game Group meets the last Wednesday of each month at 1:30pm until we are ready to stop and go home. Please come join us and have some fun! |

An Inter-denominational Seniors fellowship group for anyone age 50 + to cultivate friendly relationships, obtain information on community resources for Senior needs, encourage participation in Church and Community programs, enjoy entertainment and assist with food donations for the needy through Catholic Charities Food Bank. Meetings are held on the third Friday of each month at Holy Faith Parish beginning at 10:30am with lunch at noon . |
