Service Ministries (A-F)

This is a volunteer and paid ministry providing childcare for
the various ministry groups, missions, school meetings and other church events
so parents can actively participate within our community. It is requested that
needs be scheduled at least two weeks in advance when possible. Two adults are
always assigned and more as needed. Tens may assist with the adult(s).

Serve as a liaison between the priest, funeral home, and the
bereaved family in selecting scripture, music and other details for the funeral.

As a community, this group offers the gift of hospitality after
a funeral Mass. Assistance is needed to provide food items, purchase food, set
up, serve, and clean up afterwards.

A dedicated group who help sort, fold, stuff and prepare
assorted mass mailings. Detail oriented people are needed as well as someone to
coordinate and schedule teams.

The Visions and Pathfinder groups gather food for distribution
to needy families.

The Communications Team welcomes anyone who is skilled
in various aspects of production for our main communications tools,
which include: our webpage, the Good News bulletin, State of the
Parish report, various ministry brochures, and other special feature
documents. The Team would consist of anyone who had talents in the
following areas: writing, layout and design, computer skills,
production, and graphic arts capabilities. The Team would have bi-monthly
meetings to assess overall design and layout for all communication tools
of the parish, and then individually or in small teams, work on
executing the goals set forth by the larger committee at the bi-monthly
meetings. This should prove to be a fun and creative group, focused on
making great things happen in a creative team setting!

Childcare for walking toddlers through age 3 staffed by parents
who use the nursery during the 10:00am Mass. Due to diocesan requirements,
number of children is limited and fingerprinting and background checks are
required for all parents. A survey is in process to review this ministry for
potential expansion.

A ministry that is guided by the principles of stewardship to
solicit gifts of treasure for annual, capital and endowment purposes in the
parish community. Through stewardship, this ministry encourages parishioners to
give, over and above their tithe, to specific church projects and programs.

We have a big church that gathers lots of dust and we
need your help to keep it clean! Participate as a family, or by
yourself. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow parishioners and
have some fun while doing something magnificent for our beautiful
church. Please join Christine Williams and her family in this wonderful
ministry.
